Aloha Hawaii Sports Practitioners!

HOPE is back and we look forward to seeing you again on Wednesday, April 10th!  The Hawaii Orthopaedic & Performance Education Meeting, in honor of the late Allen Richardson, is all about getting to hear your talented colleagues and learning about sports medicine and performance topics.  HOPE is now officially a 501c3 nonprofit entity designed to bring Hawaii sports practitioners together for free food, fun, education, and giving back to the community we live and thrive in.  This event typically lasts for 2 hours.  You are welcome to stay, eat and leave as you have time for.

  • McKenzie Milton, former University of Central Florida Knights and Florida State QB 
  • Dr. Bruce Levy – World renown orthopaedic surgeon, McKenzie’s surgeon
  • Mary Vander Heiden – Head football athletic trainer, UCF
  • Dr. Mike Jablonski – Head team physician UCF football, medical director for UCF athletics

    2. Twenty  minute talk with Q & A – Nick Crawford: Tracking the Injuries and Prevention Strategies in Other Sports, How Are We Doing? 

        3. Resident Point-Counterpoint: ACL Graft Selection

·      Food and Beverages:  Will be provided     
       Parking:  Will need to pay at the gate ($5 non-refundable fee)

This meeting is intended for all those involved with the care of Hawaii athletes.  That includes doctors of multiple specialties, nurses, physician assistants, residents, fellows, etc.  If you would like to invite someone else, please reply to this email with his or her info.  This meeting has a strict policy against potential bias.  All rules must be followed regarding sponsorship and disclosures; any questions please feel free to contact me.  My wife, Nicole, is the program/nonprofit coordinator for this recurring meeting so any questions please feel free to ask.
