HOPE is a joint provider and educational partner of Hawaii Consortium for Continuing Medical Education (HCCME), which is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education to physicians. HOPE reviews its own program and awards CME credits in accordance to ACCME policies and Standards for Commercial Support. As such, HOPE has established the following policies for sponsorship:
The signature at the end of the Sponsorship Application acknowledges receipt of and agrees to abide by the Terms and Conditions which regulations are considered to be part of the agreement between sponsor and Hawaii Orthopaedic & Performance Education (HOPE) if this application is accepted by HOPE. Acceptance of this application as an agreement between the sponsor and HOPE will occur when signed by a HOPE Board member. HOPE does not guarantee the number of attendees. It is understood that all sponsorship agreements are subject to review by the Board of Directors. All claims or suits arising out of the application’s acceptance or rejection shall be governed by the laws of the State of Hawaii, and any obligations arising out of the application’s acceptance or rejection shall be considered as occurring in Honolulu County, Hawaii.
